As of 8 August 2022, only registered Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAPs) may be primarily responsible for the planning, management, co-ordination or review of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) including Basic Assessments and Environmental Management Programmes (EMPRs) as based on the set of core competencies under the Section 24H Registration Authority Regulations of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA), Act 107 of 1998, as amended.
This registration must be renewed annually. Candis Lubbe holds a renewed EAP Registration Certificate and is valid until 28 February 2025.
